1524 Pacific Cottage is a small project to convert a 10' x 14' gardening shed into what we hope will be a very cozy back yard cottage positioned next 4 person hot tub. We start with a very simple custom shed that no longer has any use for us. It is nestled in the trees, bordered on two sides by property boundary, grass yard on one side and some lovely brickwork between the cottage and house. this is the Northeast side. We will seal up this door and add a slider to the left of it. Remove the vent and install new siding. This roof and sky lights will be reused for the new garden shed Will need to trim back the trees. on this side we remove the entire structure facing us now, including the slanted part of the roof hidden in the trees. we add 2 sliders on the right side of the shed, to meet the other slider on the northeast wall. insulate and install interior siding.. remove light and fan to be reused in the new garden shed. add a layer of hardiboard an...
